1. Purpose

This page summarizes how Octopus Organizer handles personal and financial data so users and store reviewers can understand our safety practices. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. Data we process

Account identifiers (email, auth IDs).
Financial records you enter or import (transactions, budgets, bills).
Device and diagnostic signals needed for reliability.

3. Collection and sharing

We do not sell personal data.
Bank credentials are not required for statement upload workflows.
Limited processors (auth, hosting, crash reporting) may receive data only to operate the product.

4. Security controls

Encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
Account authentication and optional device biometrics / app lock.
Access controls and monitoring on backend services.

5. User controls

Export and delete paths in Settings → Data & Privacy.
