How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open Octopus Organizer.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Data & Privacy.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm deletion using biometric/device authentication.

What is deleted

  • Account profile data (email/account identifiers).
  • Cloud-synced financial data linked to your account.
  • Associated app metadata required to identify your account.
  • AI copilot conversation artifacts where deletion APIs are available.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained or anonymized instead of hard-deleted where required for legal, audit, fraud-prevention, financial-integrity, or backup obligations. This can include ledger or audit traces that no longer directly identify you.

Deletion timeline

Account deletion requests are initiated immediately after confirmation. Processing timelines vary by data category and may involve a combination of immediate delete, scheduled cleanup, or anonymization.
